Managing Director, Jonathan (Jonny) Schauder is considered one of Melbourne’s foremost educators and practitioners.

A consultant and director for the past 11 years with the prestigious training firm, CMA, Jonathan has demonstrated his ability to enable organizations to achieve their best by facilitating the creation of strategies, designing and optimizing systems, resolving even the most entrenched disputes, and enhancing personal skills through coaching or training.

Over 20,000 delegates have attended his conferences, workshops, facilitations or coaching sessions.

Having had a training and consulting relationship with Vicroads and Treasury for the past 8 years, Jonathan has worked on many major infrastructure projects. He was the leadership and culture coach on the renown Deer Park Bypass One-Team initiative. This project broke new ground in collaboration and is a finalist (top 3 of 125 submissions) for Leighton Contractors’s International “Best Project Culture” and “Best Project Leadership” Awards in 2008.

Jonathan is perhaps Melbourne’s most recognised coach for non – Alliance and sub Alliance road project collaboration.

Jonny was also the leadership and culture coach on Vicroad’s Donnybrook Road Interchange: Project Integrated Success Model (PrISM) with BMD Contractors. Donnybrook also set new standards for collaborative project delivery.

He has published articles and delivered many key note addresses on collaborative contracting. Recently he gave a keynote address at NZ Roading’s annual conference.

In 1998 Jonathan taught negotiation at Harvard Law School as an assistant to Professor Roger Fisher, author of the internationally acclaimed text, “Getting to Yes”.

Jonathan has also completed advanced mediation training with the world recognized mediation experts, Bush and Folger.

Earlier in his career he worked with the Victorian Police Academy, taught final year Strategic Management in the School of Economics and Commerce at Monash University and was a Youth Worker with the City of Kingston.

Jonathan has lectured in Mediation and Negotiation at Monash Law School at undergraduate, post-graduate and advanced post-graduate levels; and has also lectured in the Monash University MBA.

Jonathan has trained many professional mediators, coaches and facilitators around Melbourne - from private practitioners to panelists at VCAT.

He was Chairman of the Family Mediation Centre from 2000-2002 and a Board Member of LEADR Victoria from 2005-2007. He is currently on a Board that is revamping the Jewish Community’s internal conflict resolution systems.

Jonathan’s specialty is to build relationships between groups and teams and to assist individuals to achieve their work and personal goals.

His latest products are cutting edge seminars on achieving work-life balance, time management, stress management, and leading high performance teams.

Jonathan is married with four children and lives in Melbourne.
